PfB Seminar

I am hosting a Passion for Birth (PfB) Seminar October 28-30, 2009, in Seoul
at Yongsan Army Base. Passes will be arranged for those who do not
have base access. PfB seminars are accredited by Lamaze International
and contact hours earned in a PfB/Lamaze seminar can be used towards
certification or recertification with Lamaze and ICEA.

Who comes to PfB workshops?

People who are just starting on their path to become childbirth
educators as well as experienced educators who are looking for fresh
ideas or others who are interested in pursuing Lamaze or ICEA
certification. Most groups include nurses, doulas, new moms who were
inspired (or traumatized) by their births, “natural” educators from
other disciplines, social workers and people who just know that they
want to become a childbirth educator! PfB seminars also count as
continuing education for RNs.

The instructor will be Ann Tumblin. She is a DONA Certified Doula
Approved Doula Trainer, Lamaze International Certified Childbirth
Educator, Lamaze International Program Trainer and Program Trainer for
Passion for Birth Lamaze Education Program. She has also worked here
in Korea to train DONA doula trainers and will be making her third
trip to Korea this fall to help train more Korean doulas with Haesook
Kim who is a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator (LCCE) and DONA
certified doula trainer in Seoul. Below is the link to Ann’s website.
